I have setup xampp for public and private access. how to redirect the user to site not to my databases

I have setup xampp for public and private access. how to redirect the user
to site not to my databases

I have configured xampp apache for both public and private access but the
problem here is when some one opens my link the databases open up and its
not secured anybody can delete my databases and can copy my data so any
body please tell me how to redirect incoming user to the site folder and
restrict to access the databases is there anyway
